    Sagrado Corazon de Jesus

The Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Roman Catholic Parish is located 29 miles south of the Grand Canyon in Valle, Arizona (Google Maps will say Williams).   It was founded through the initiatives of the community members, who wanted to nourish their Catholic Faith through their own cultural upbringing as Hispanic Catholics.

Their celebrations especially on the feast days of the Sacred Heart and of Our Lady of Guadalupe are characterized by festive and colorful adornment of the small chapel. Their fiesta is not complete without the Native food of Mexican delicacies.

The makeshift chapel is made of humble construction and furnishings and has a humble spirit among the people, who continue to raise money in preparation to build their new Church with proper insulation, plumbing, restrooms & a sacristy.

Please Send your check donations to El Cristo Rey Catholic Church and on the Memo Line, write: Sagrado Corazon Building Fund.

I would to thank all those who have helped and continue to help to support this work.

In the meantime, we ask for your prayers to help us attain our noble dream to finish our Church.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary continue to protect us and guide us.  Amen.

    • Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Roman Catholic Parish is 29 miles South of the Grand Canyon located in Valle, east of the Chevron and the junction roads of I-180 and I-64.
    • Online Map Directions list the parish as being on 233 Walnut Road, which is correct, but they list it as being in the city of Williams, but it is not in the town of Williams city limits.  However, following those directions will still guide you correctly to 233 Walnut Road in Valle.
